For beach-friendly cuisine and pizza, head to locally owned Cabana Cafe within the Seascape resort. Conveniently set next to twin swimming pools, this is the place for a quick, satisfying meal in between swimming and boogie boarding. There’s live music here several nights a week. Next door, indulge in sushi or steaks at Surfside Resort’s Royal Palme Grill. Don’t miss the sunset beach bonfires with s’mores and drink specials.

Bring the whole family to Lucille’s Family Kitchen for its delicious comfort food, from crab cakes to gumbo to smokehouse wings. Then, put the littles to bed and return to Lucille’s Music Hall with its impressive lineup of touring bands and classic nightclub ambiance. Over at The Village of Baytowne Wharf, you can visit sister location The Village Door for delicious food and live music every day of the week (and dancing until 2 am every Friday and Saturday night).

The margaritas flow at Mezcal Mexican Grill, where top-shelf tequilas and live local entertainment complement a casual lunch or romantic dinner at sunset. Having your own get-together? The Seascape Towne Centre is a natural gathering spot within the community, offering 55,000 square feet of lifestyle and retail offerings. Things to Do

Make the fairway your backyard at Seascape, home to a Joe Lee-designed, 18-hole, championship course that meanders through a network of freshwater and coastal dune lakes and is dotted with towering pine trees. Head to The Golf Garden of Destin, The Emerald Bay Golf Club, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and some of the many other world-class courses in the South Walton area.

In addition to golf, Seascape residents have immediate access to a complete tennis facility with eight lighted courts, on-site tennis lessons and a pro shop. It’s easy to head to the award-winning Hidden Dunes Beach & Tennis Resort to hit the championship clay courts.

Spend a day at nearby Henderson Beach State Park, with its warm Gulf waters and 30-foot-tall white-sand dunes. This protected strip of the Emerald Coast is ideal for fishing.
